JOY

Jump and tumble, play while you can,

Over the meadows, run as fast as you can,

Years go by, life is too short, so make the most out of it, before your time is o'er.

:-)

Yes,  yes, you're guessing right! I am Joy from the wacky class of Garnet 08!!! Yeah! Rock On! For the past few days, I, together with my classmates, have been studying about POETRY. Obviously, we do it during English class with Sr. Ayende. Like what Agnetha said, poetry is better then studying grammar. Grammar is easy to learn and study unlike poetry, but poetry is fun to do. Our introduction to this matter is Peter Weir's "Dead Poets Society". It's an excellent movie, I must say, and interesting too. But, I didn't get to see the ending. Oh well, I just read the scripts I found in the internet. :-) Bad, bad me.

A CRIMINAL'S VIEW

There is a seemingly endless road that I've been traveling over and over again,

I don't seem to stop, it doesn't seem to end.

I'm getting exhausted yet I can't stop.

My conscience, it haunts me!

A face of an old lady staring at me hungrily,

As if she's begging for justice, revenge.

I did something, yet I didn't admit it.

I was a coward! I didn't have the courage.

I lied, yes, like a child.

I don't care if I have to travel this endless road.

I don't care if it even leads me to hell.

I know that the old lady stares at me, she haunts me,

But still, I will not admit.

Again, this poem was written on the night of September 20, 2004. :-) It has the same "birth date" as "Memories". Hmm... I didn't know why I had the energy to write this poem. It's unusual of me to write a poem like this because the theme would be crime. Now, where would I get such idea.

No, no, let me explain. The idea here was a problem that has not yet been solved or noticed. A person tries to escape his responsibility on the part of the problem until he was desperate and accepted defeat. His problem conquered his body, so the  problem became his master.
