JOY

Jump and tumble, play while you can,

Over the meadows, run as fast as you can,

Years go by, life is too short, so make the most out of it, before your time is o'er.

:-)

Yes,  yes, you're guessing right! I am Joy from the wacky class of Garnet 08!!! Yeah! Rock On! For the past few days, I, together with my classmates, have been studying about POETRY. Obviously, we do it during English class with Sr. Ayende. Like what Agnetha said, poetry is better than studying grammar. Grammar is easy to learn and study unlike poetry, but poetry is fun to do. Our introduction to this matter is Peter Weir's "Dead Poets Society". It's an excellent movie, I must say, and interesting too. But, I didn't get to see the ending. Oh well, I just read the scripts I found in the internet. :-) Bad, bad me.

"Inquisitive people are the funnels of conversation; they do not take in anything for their own use, but merely to pass it to another." - Steele

SLEEPING ON CLOUDS

Seven clouds I see in the sky,

Seven fluffy cottons which pass me by,

Seven fluffy cottons that look down upon me,

Wond'ring if they even care for me.

I wonder how it will feel to sleep on a cloud tonight,

Will I fall like rain or stay like the moon so bright?

Will the wind be my sweet lullaby tonight?

And shall let me sleep in peace at night.

I hope my pillow will never disappear,

For I long to hug the pillow, so dear,

For I wonder what could really be,

If I sleep on the clouds tonight.

Another poem written last September 21, 2004! I made 3 poems that day, all using the elements found in the sky. This was the second one.

This poem talked about a child's young and curious mind. So curious was his mind because even the slightest idea of sleeping on clouds entered his mind. His imagination works here. This poem also talked about dreams. Nothing was disregarded when we dream. Every detail is significant. This was so because our dreams give us courage to continue striving for the better. :-)
